Family road trip from Houston to Pensacola. Car threw a flashing check engine light. Immediately exit and landed at this shop. I was desperate and in a vulnerable position. A local dealer shop ("PP" who I will never do biz with again) claimed my wife's car had a blown head gasket. It overheated briefly and there was no coolant in the reservoir when I went to pick her up. Their so-called "master" technician said he was certain the head gasket was blown and it would cost up to 10k for a new engine. Towed it to Bradley to get a second opinion. Turned out to be a stuck thermostat and/or empty reservoir from a coolant flush. He burped out the air and the problem was fixed. Now almost a year later and the car is running fine. Bradley basically saved me a ton of cash and from being scammed. Is he perfect? No. (took 2 tries and a week to fix an A/C leak.) Is he honest? Yes. Will I go back to him again? Absolutely.
This guy is a real piece of work. I took my car in for a coolant leak which I tried to repair myself. I thought it was coming from the thermostat housing but I was wrong. I drove the car to them in perfect running order. Upon there diagnosis they proceeded to change the housing. Still leaked. Turned out to be the water pump. It runs off the timing chain. Once they put it in they turned the car over and it skipped timing bending a valve in the engine. Bradley called me and told me that I would have to foot the $1500 or so bill. I said no and proceeded to sue. He settled out of court with me for $600 which wasn't even a refund. I would've fully sued him but he was just going to take it to higher courts till I ran out of money. I am mechanic for the Navy and would've done the job myself had I had enough time to fool with a daily driver. Do yourself a favor and stay far away!!!!
